Argentina’s incredible win in '22 sealed Lionel Messi’s lifelong dream, and we can’t wait to see what unfolds as all eyes go to North America this summer. 48 teams (for the first time EVER), three countries and four weeks of unmissable international football are on their way. We just. Can’t. Wait!

World Cup 2026: everything you need to know 

We’re still finalising our plans for the World Cup 2026, but it’s stacking up to be the biggest and best celebration we’ve ever seen. Our Sky Sports and TNT Sports screens will be bringing you all of the action, our teams are ready and waiting to pour you a fresh pint when you (inevitably) spill yours, and we’re pulling out all the stops to make our sports pubs the best place to watch it.

When is it? 

The opening match is set for Thursday the 11th of June 2026 at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, while the final will be played on Sunday the 19th of July 2026 in the New York New Jersey Stadium.

Who has qualified for it? 

The home nations (Canada, Mexico and the USA) have automatically qualified and will be joined by 45 nations. Qualifiers are still ongoing, but we can expect to see Brazil, Argentina, Japan, Morocco and Australia competing in the group stage later this year.
