Belhaven Untapped 2026 has come to an unforgettable close, with T-A crowned the first-ever winner after a standout performance at The City Walls in Stirling.

The Dunfermline four-piece took the title following a live final showcasing some of Scotland’s most exciting emerging music talent, beating fellow finalists Bella Rana, Kaleidoscope and Pelikan Rogue.

T-A impressed the judging panel with their iconic stage presence and neo-grunge inspired original sound, blending post-punk energy with a style shaped by influences from The Velvet Underground, Orbital and Gwen Stefani.

As the first-ever Belhaven Untapped winners, T-A received £5,000 to support their music career and help them take their next step.

Belhaven Untapped formed part of Live at Your Local, Belhaven pubs’ celebration of grassroots music, bringing free live performances to pubs across Scotland throughout August and September.

Live at Your Local may have wrapped for the summer, but you can still discover live music at Belhaven pubs near you.

How does it work?

  • Enter online and show us what you’re made of. We’ll ask for the basics and a track or two to hear your sound. Just a heads up: submitting doesn’t guarantee you a spot but the pub will be in touch if you're selected to play.
  • Play a live heat at the pub. Expect proper crowds and real-time reactions
  • Eight winners will earn a place at The City Walls in Stirling for the grand finale where the best of the best battle it out.
  • Win it all and claim a £5,000 cash prize, and a slot at the Greene King Untapped Final in London! Oh, and eternal bragging rights (obviously).

A word from this year's winner, Sophie De-Rose from T-A

Sophie De-Rose from T-A said: “We’re absolutely buzzing to have won the first-ever Belhaven Untapped Final. The whole experience has been incredible and performing on Friday alongside so many brilliant Scottish artists was incredible. To come away as the winner is honestly a bit surreal.

“The £5,000 will make such a difference to us as a band and help us invest in our music and take things to the next level. Now we get to represent Scotland at the Greene King Untapped final in London, which is an amazing opportunity. We can’t wait to get down there and give it everything.”
