It's the familiar faces you've known for years. The new ones you've somehow become best pals with by midnight. It's glasses clinking, laughter echoing around the pub and everyone confidently pulling out those sacred dance moves...
It's squeezing in one more drink, promising this really is the last one and then staying long enough to watch the countdown together anyway.

Before the countdown comes the real priority... deciding what's for dinner.Available on 31st December and 1st January only, our special Hogmanay menu lets you celebrate with two or three courses of festive favourites before the bells ring.
Start the celebrations
Start with something tempting, either our warming Red Lentil Soup, or our delicious Haggis Bon Bons with whisky sauce.
Make the main event count
Then it’s time for the main event. Tuck into a traditional Haggis, Swede & Tatties complete with whisky sauce, our comforting Belhaven Steak & Ale pie, a perfectly cooked Hand-Battered Haddock and Chips or even a Veggie Sausage & Mash. All giving you a proper Scottish taste of the season.
End the year on a sweet note
Still got room? It’d be rude not to. Round off your evening with a traditional Sticky Toffee Pudding, an indulgent Triple Chocolate Brownie, or a comforting Bramley Apple Crumble.
