Christmas Day comes with a few guarantees.

Someone will wear a novelty jumper. Someone will ask what time we're eating every half hour. Someone will say they're going light... before sneaking off with all the appetisers.

The only thing that shouldn't be guaranteed is one person spending the whole morning in the kitchen. This year, save your energy and hand the apron, baster, peeler, and everything else over to us.

Our Christmas Day menu is all about the dishes that make 25th December special, served with a warm Scottish smile and a table full of people who matter most. No frantic checks on recipes. No washing-up mountain. No trying to remember if the gravy granules are in the cupboard.

Just a proper Christmas dinner, good company and all the time in the world to enjoy it.

If Christmas dinner had a greatest hits album, it'd look a lot like this.

Start with comforting favourites that warm you up from the inside out, from Red Lentil Soup to Smoked Salmon and beautifully baked vegetarian dishes.

Then comes the reason everyone's loosened their belt a notch.

Our hand-carved turkey dinner brings together everything you'd hope to see on a Christmas plate: perfectly carved turkey, garlic and rosemary roast potatoes, buttery mash, winter vegetables, red cabbage, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, pigs in blankets and plenty of rich gravy to tie it all together.

Looking for something a little different? From beautifully baked salmon wrapped in golden pastry to a perfectly cooked sirloin steak topped with king prawns, our festive menu also serves up a few surprises worthy of the occasion.

Vegetarian? You're in for a treat too, with a cranberry-glazed nut roast bringing together sweet, savoury and seasonal flavours in every bite.

Then there's dessert.

Keep things traditional with Christmas pudding, complete with your choice of custard or brandy sauce, or unwrap a creamy vanilla cheesecake drizzled with pistachio sauce for a grand finale that's every bit as exciting as the presents.

Belhaven Christmas Day Booking Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy

For those customers choosing to book from our Christmas Day Menu, we look forward to welcoming you.

Booking Date	Christmas Day – 25th December 2026
Deposit Amount	Adult: £10 per person Child: £5 per person
Booking Confirmations	Confirmation of your booking will be sent via email, and only provided once payment of the required deposit has been made.
Menu Pre-Orders	Menu pre-orders open from 21st October 2026. You will be sent an email with a link to enter your menu pre-orders online.
Deposit and Menu Pre-Order Deadlines	For reservations made on or before 11th December 2026 menu choices must be provided by 11th December 2026. For reservations made after 11th December 2026, menu choices must be provided by 18th December 2026 No further bookings will be accepted online after 18th December 2026. Guests wanting to book after 18th December 2026 should phone the pub to confirm any last-minute availability. Full payment and menu choices will be required at the time of making the reservation. If you do not submit your menu choices by the above deadlines then we reserve the right to cancel your booking.
Full Payment Deadline	Payment in full will be required no later than 1st December 2026, and at the time of booking for any reservations made after this date.
Cancellation by You	Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel on or after 11th December 2026. All additional payments made would be refunded in full. A full refund of all payments will be made if you cancel before 11th December 2026.
Refund of deposit	If you are due a refund under these terms and conditions. Please contact the pub you placed your booking with to arrange your refund.
Cancellation by Greene King	If for any reason we are unable to host your get-together, we will give you as much notice as possible. If we cannot guarantee a new date, or you are not happy to re-book in the future, we will give you a full refund of your deposit.
Amendments to bookings	Increase in numbers: If you increase numbers, and we can accommodate, payment of the additional deposits will be required at the time of the amendment. Payment in full and menu choices for the additional customer(s) must be provided in line with the above deadlines. Decrease in numbers: If you decrease numbers at any time, any payments made will be retained and applied against the final total bill on the day. Any credit balance will be refunded to you on the day.
